Producer Galicia, Spain

Adegas Galegas

Adegas Galegas, 'the Galician winery', sits above the Miño river in the green north-west of Spain, right on the border with Portugal.

Pepe Rodriguez founded it in 1995. He is often called the father of modern Albariño, and his work to bring back and champion local grapes helped lift the whole Rías Baixas region. Today you find its Albariño in shops and restaurants all over the world.

The wines taste of where they come from: an Atlantic, tidal place where the weather can change in an instant.
