Domaine Alain Michelot looks at the vineyards of Nuits-Saint-Georges in fine detail, plot by plot. Alain is still in charge, but his daughter Elodie now makes the wines.

Since Elodie took over, the wines have become more refined and pure. Even the simple Bourgogne Pinot Noir is made from young vines close to Nuits. Higher up the range, the wines show what Nuits does best: lots of ripe black fruit with a firm structure and real depth.
