Cantina Colli Euganei is a co-operative of 950 growers in the Euganei hills, 30 kilometres south-west of Padova. Director Nicola Zandoná cares about quality and value, and it shows in the glass.

The hills are volcanic, and the poor soils calm down the Glera grape's natural exuberance. That gives Prosecco with real purity and depth. They make a gently fizzy frizzante with a lovely lift of aroma, and a balanced, very drinkable spumante with fine, long-lasting bubbles.
