Cantine del Notaio is a fairly young winery set in the volcanic landscape of Mount Vulture, in Basilicata. Gerardo Giuratrabocchetti and his wife Marcella founded it in 1998, setting out to restore an estate once owned by Gerardo's grandfather.

With biodynamic farming and real skill in the cellar, it has quickly become one of the best producers in Basilicata.
