Château de la Dauphine
Château de la Dauphine is a Fronsac estate with an 18th-century château at its heart. It takes its name from a stay by Marie-Josèphe de Saxe, the dauphine in the reign of Louis XV.
Jean Halley bought it from the Moueix family in 2001, and the Labrune family took over in 2015. They have turned its 53 hectares over to organic farming and are moving towards biodynamics. In 2021 they added 13 hectares in Canon-Fronsac, which took the total to 70 hectares.
