Château Haut-Monplaisir

Château Haut-Monplaisir is a 28-hectare estate in Cahors run by Cathy and Daniel Fournié. It came to Cathy from her father, who used to sell all his wine to négociants.

When they took over in 1998, the couple set out to make top-quality wine and bottle it themselves. Pascal Verhaeghe, who makes fine Cahors of his own, believed in their land from the start and still advises them.
