Château La Guérinière

Château La Guérinière is a 10-hectare Saint-Émilion estate that dates from 1990. Its vines are spread across two villages, Saint-Pey-d'Armens and Saint-Hippolyte, on the eastern slopes of the appellation.

It is part of Vignobles Rambaud, a family business started in 1983 with vines from the Rambaud property at Saint-Pey-d'Armens. Christophe Rambaud, the next generation, now runs things.

The vines average about 20 years old and grow on sandy loam. Merlot makes up nearly all of the blend, with a dash of Cabernet Franc. The grapes are picked by hand, and consultant Thierry Jouan oversees the winemaking.
