Château Mayne-Graves

Château Mayne-Graves is a side project of the Guimberteau family, who run a number of vineyards on Bordeaux's Right Bank.

They were won over by the gravelly ground in this spot north of Pomerol and planted vines here in 2002. The first wine followed in 2004. Claude Guimberteau and his team make it in a traditional claret style, and it is a good way into classic Bordeaux.
