Contero is an 11-hectare estate in Strevi, Piedmont, owned by the Marenco family, who specialise in Moscato and Brachetto. Its Moscato d'Asti and Brachetto d'Acqui are among the best around.

The steep vineyards sit in a natural amphitheatre on tufa and marl, in one of Piedmont's top spots for Moscato. The Moscato is fresh, lively and gently frothy, and the Brachetto smells of roses and fresh grapes.
