Deakin Estate

Deakin Estate was set up in 1967. It takes its name from Alfred Deakin, once Prime Minister of Australia, who led the way on irrigation in this dry part of Victoria. Today it belongs to Calabria Family Vineyards, run by the third generation of a family that has made wine since 1927.

The Calabrias own vineyards in the Riverina and the Barossa Valley, and also buy grapes from growers in some of Australia's best regions.
