Domaine Couly-Dutheil
Founded in 1921, Domaine Couly-Dutheil is one of the best-known names in Chinon. Arnaud Couly, the fourth generation, has been in charge since 2005.

He farms 94 hectares around the region and has changed a lot in the cellar. He picks riper, avoids oak and extracts less from the reds, so each site can show itself. Unusually for Chinon, there are white wines too: clear, precise Chenin Blanc from different plots.
