Domaine de la Jobeline

Domaine de la Jobeline sits in the hills of Verzé, a small, old village in the Mâconnais. The Maillet family have worked the land in the area for close to 400 years.

Pierre Maillet took charge in 2004 of the estate his grandfather, a Mâcon pharmacist, started about a century ago. He grows Chardonnay, Aligoté and Gamay on 11 hectares, and the oldest vines date from 1960. The family make fresh reds and whites under the Bourgogne Aligoté, Mâcon-Villages and Mâcon-Verzé names.
