Domaine de la Solitude

Domaine de la Solitude is a Pessac-Léognan estate at Martillac, about 18 kilometres south west of Bordeaux. Nuns of the Sainte Famille religious community have owned it since 1854.

They handed the running of the vineyard to the Bernard family for 40 years, and Olivier Bernard's team from Domaine de Chevalier now makes the wine. The estate covers 32 hectares.
