Domaine des Anges

Domaine des Anges has 24 hectares of vines in Chablis, on the Serein river's right bank, facing south and south-east. The mix of limestone marl and Kimmeridgian soil gives the wine its salty, mineral edge.

Winemaker Jean-François Bordet comes from one of the oldest families in the area, going back to 1590. His grapes come from vines aged 25 to 40 years. Some are his own, farmed sustainably, and some come from growers he has worked with for years.

The wine is made and aged on its lees in steel, which keeps it fresh and pure. Think ripe stone fruit, zippy acidity and a mineral finish.
