The small family estate of Domaine La Croix Saint-Laurent sits right in the heart of Sancerre. The Cirotte family have run it since 1932, making classic Sancerre from steep hillside vines farmed sustainably.
Winery at Bué, Loire.
The 10.5 hectares are in the hamlet of Bué, a few kilometres from Sancerre itself. Bué has a real mix of soils, from stony caillottes and white limestone clays to flint. The steep slopes, different heights and good aspects help the grapes ripen well.
