Domaine Perraud

Jean-Christophe Perraud was 24 when he founded Domaine Perraud in 2005, making wine from his family's vines around Mâcon and in Saint-Véran. Before that, the family sold their grapes to local cooperatives.

He looks after 30 hectares and has recently moved them to organic farming. His Chardonnay and Aligoté vines are around 20 years old and make elegant wines at fair prices. Expect a zesty, refreshing Aligoté, a clean Mâcon-Villages with green apple, and a creamier Saint-Véran.
