Domaine Pierre Morey

Domaine Pierre Morey is a Meursault estate. The Morey family can be traced in Burgundy back to the 16th century, and they have been in Meursault since 1793.

Pierre's father Auguste started out in 1935 as a sharecropper for Domaine des Comtes Lafon. Pierre was later cellar master at Domaine Leflaive, from 1988 until 2008. The domaine covers 10 hectares, with plots in Meursault, Monthélie, Pommard and Puligny-Montrachet, and it has been farmed biodynamically since 1997. His daughter Anne now runs it with him.
