Evaristo

Evaristo is a red from the Lisbon wine region in Portugal, made by winemaker Diogo Sepúlveda with grapes from growers across the area. The blend mixes two Portuguese grapes, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet, with Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Cooler coastal sites add freshness and perfume, while warmer inland vineyards bring ripe fruit and body. It ferments in steel with no oak, so it stays juicy, soft and very easy to drink.

The small crow on the label is for Saint Vincent, Lisbon's patron saint. The story goes that crows followed the ship that carried his remains to the city.
