Fantini

Valentino Sciotti founded Fantini in 1994 to make top-quality wine in Abruzzo. It did so well that the group grew across southern Italy and its islands, and now includes several other wineries.

The well-known winemaker Alberto Antonini oversees it all, keeping the focus on quality, true grape character and good value. The bottles look smart too, so they stand out on the table.

Fantini itself works with vineyards in northern Abruzzo, where ripe fruit meets freshness. Montepulciano here has its usual deep colour and intensity, but with a softer, friendlier balance. There are fresh whites, rosés and sparkling wines too.
