Ferraton Père & Fils

Jean-Orëns Ferraton, from a family of growers with a small plot in Hermitage, founded Maison Ferraton in 1946.

His son Michel grew the business, buying vines in Crozes-Hermitage and Saint-Joseph that now make several highly praised single-site wines. He also set up a négociant side, sourcing fine wine from up and down the Rhône Valley.

Since 1998 this small house has been a keen believer in organic and biodynamic farming, and more of its wines are made that way every year.
