Finca Antigua

The Martínez Bujanda family had made wine in Rioja for more than a hundred years when, in 1998, they bought the big Finca Antigua estate in La Mancha. There they built a striking modern winery.

The vines grow very high, at 900 metres, on soils with lots of limestone, which gives the wines far more finesse than most from this large region.

In 2022 they made their first fully organic harvest. They have also cut the water they use for irrigation by half with a clever water treatment system.
