Fincas Valdemacuco

Fincas Valdemacuco is the first project outside Rioja for Bodegas Valdemar, who bring more than a century of experience to Spain's other great Tempranillo region, Ribera del Duero.

The grapes come from chosen vineyards in the Nava de Roa area, close to the Duero river. They have a lovely clear, fresh fruit, which gentle winemaking and a short spell in oak barrels only help along.
