Gran Dominio

Gran Dominio is a Rioja made by María Barúa, who knows her home region inside out and has a real eye for detail.

The wines are built on Tempranillo, sometimes with a little Mazuelo, and aged in oak, American on its own or alongside French. Expect juicy red cherry, a touch of spice and soft, smooth tannins, with the older wines moving towards riper dark fruit and a hint of vanilla.
