Great Heart
Great Heart started in 2021 as a staff empowerment project. It is owned together by the people who work at the Mullineux and Leeu Family Wines cellars, and its wagtail logo is a South African folk symbol of courage and selflessness.
Head winemaker Gynore Hendricks leads the team, mentored by Chris and Andrea Mullineux. They farm sustainably, keep things simple in the cellar and focus on single sites and pure, natural fruit.
The range takes in Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon from Stellenbosch and Cabernet Franc from Franschhoek, each from one carefully chosen vineyard.
