Zar and Elena Brooks, the couple behind Dandelion Vineyards, set up Heirloom Vineyards to make wine from some of their very best fruit.

The idea, in Zar's words, is to keep the best of tradition and their old vineyards, while planting the best clones of each grape in the sites that suit them. They follow organic and biodynamic principles too.

The range includes Shiraz from the Barossa and Pinot Noir from the Adelaide Hills, which is bright, crunchy and great value.
