Kim Crawford

Kim and Erica Crawford started Kim Crawford Wines in late 1996, making two wines from Marlborough grapes. In 2005 they sold the business to Constellation and handed over to their winemakers. Dave Edmonds is chief winemaker today.

The team still follow the Crawfords' original approach and style. Good grapes are key, so they keep close ties with growers across Marlborough. Since 2022 they have also used lighter bottles, one of several steps to cut their impact.

The Sauvignon Blanc is what they are best known for. It is blended from more than 200 parcels in the Wairau, Awatere and other valleys. There is Pinot Gris and a Pinot Noir from Marlborough and Central Otago too.
