La Braccesca
La Braccesca is an Antinori estate in southern Tuscany, owned by the family since 1990. It spans two appellations, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano and its neighbour, Cortona.
Vino Nobile has a long history, going back 1,200 years or more. It is warmer here than in Chianti to the north, and the local form of Sangiovese, called Prugnolo, makes richer, more generous wine. Cortona, meanwhile, has become Italy's go-to area for Syrah.
