La Curiosité

This wine comes from Domaine Ciry Cattaneo, a small organic estate in Laure-Minervois, between Carcassonne and Narbonne. David Ciry, a consultant winemaker by trade, set it up in 2015 with Marion Cattaneo, a chocolatier.

David trained in Champagne and Bordeaux and still advises other growers nearby. The domaine has 6.5 hectares, split between sandstone at Laure and higher plots around Siran. Each site is worked in its own way, and they give two quite different ranges.

You can taste there by appointment, and in season they even pair the wines with chocolate.
