La Guardiense

La Guardiense is a wine cooperative in Guardia Sanframondi, in the Sannio area of Campania. It began in 1960, when 33 men decided to join forces: 28 farmers, two teachers and three doctors.

That small group has grown to about 1,000 members. Between them they tend more than 1,500 hectares of vines, at heights of around 350 to 450 metres.

Their range leans on Falanghina, Aglianico, Greco and Fiano.
