Lievland

Lievland is one of the oldest and best-known estates in Stellenbosch. It was recently bought by two old hands of the Cape wine scene, José Stark-Condé and Tyrell Myburgh. Their plan is to bring it back to its former glory.

They have started with Chenin Blanc, in two styles that show how much this grape can do in the Cape. One is crisp and fruity. The other comes from older vines, with a richer style and a gentle touch of oak.
