Lucien Crochet

Domaine Lucien Crochet is a family estate in Sancerre. Its roots go back to the Picard family, who have grown grapes here since 1765. Lucien's great-grandfather married into the family and laid the groundwork for the domaine.

Today they own 31 hectares spread over four villages in the Sancerre appellation, including the biggest single holding in Bué. They still pick by hand, which is rare in Sancerre, and use wild yeasts. The result is subtle, elegant wines.
