Mediceo makes Chianti from grapes grown across the wider Chianti area, with a good share from the hills around Florence. Winemaker and consultant Alberto Antonini picks and blends the wine, which is bottled in Cerreto Guidi.

It is mostly Sangiovese, with the fresh, lively red fruit you want from Chianti. It is a great-value way into this historic Tuscan wine.
