Michelini i Mufatto

Michelini i Mufatto is the family winery of Gerardo Michelini, his wife Andrea Mufatto and their eldest son Manuel. All three are winemakers, and they set it up together in 2016.

Gerardo came to wine late, after working as an architect and a banker. The winery is in La Cautiva, in Gualtallary, one of the highest points of the Uco Valley and seen as one of Argentina's top sites. The poor, rocky soils are full of calcium carbonate, and they give fine, pure, mineral wines that taste of the place.
