Miraval

Château Miraval is in Correns, a wild and lovely village in Provence and the first fully organic commune in France. The estate sits in its own private valley, among old woods and olive groves.

Owner Brad Pitt teamed up with the Perrins, of Château de Beaucastel, in 2012 to run the winemaking, and the wines have gone from strength to strength. There are 50 hectares of terraced vines at 350 metres, where cool nights keep the grapes fresh and fragrant. Grapes are picked by hand in the cool of early morning and sorted twice.

Rosé is the star, made mainly from Grenache, Cinsault, Rolle and Syrah. There is also a recording studio on the estate, used by bands such as Pink Floyd and AC/DC, which reopened in summer 2022.
