Muré

Since taking over from their father they have made two big changes. They now pick earlier, for drier, crisper wines that age well and go with more foods. And they have gone fully organic: the family vineyards first, back in 1999, and more recently the entry-level range, which uses some bought-in grapes.

They pay close attention to detail, and the wines are precise and true to their grapes. Being in the south of Alsace also lets them make some very good red wines.
