Nelson Estate

Nelson Estate began with a dream Alan Nelson had as a child: to own a wine farm. After years running a successful law practice in Cape Town, he bought a historic property in Paarl and named it Nelson Estate.

Granite and clay soils and cool breezes off the Atlantic help give the wines fresh, delicate flavours. Alan's daughter Lisha now runs the show. She studied at Stellenbosch University and is a Cape Wine Master, the top honour in South African wine.
