Norton

Bodega Norton began with an English engineer, Edmund Norton, who visited Mendoza and loved what he saw. In 1895 he planted the first vines in the Luján de Cuyo district.

Nearly a hundred years on, Gernot Langes-Swarovski felt the same pull. He bought Norton in 1989 and turned it into the well-known winery it is today. Chief winemaker David Bonomi leads the team.

The vineyards sit at 900 to 1,100 metres. The height keeps things cooler and gives the vines more sunlight, so the whites are lively and fresh and the reds have good structure and go well with food.
