Quinta da Lixa

Quinta da Lixa is a family Vinho Verde producer from the small town of Lixa in northern Portugal. The Meireles family already owned vineyards there and set up their winery in 1986.

A few years later they bought a ten-hectare vineyard called Quinta da Lixa, which gave the business its name, and in 1994 they built a new, bigger winery. Today the family have vines on six different estates, adding up to forty-two hectares.
