Raventós de Alella

Raventós de Alella is a small specialist in the tiny Alella area, just north east of Barcelona. The DO covers only 300 hectares, but wine has been made here without a break since Roman times.

Since starting in 1981, the winery has worked almost entirely with Pansa Blanca, a local white grape found only in this little corner of the Mediterranean. On poor sandstone soils it gives rich, deep wines full of character.
