Rotem and Mounir Saouma run Lucien Le Moine, a much-admired small Burgundy négociant. This is their side project: a handful of hectares in some of the best spots in Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

The style is unusual and fascinating, Châteauneuf seen through Burgundian eyes. The flavours are pure Grenache, but the shape of the wines, delicate and powerful at once, owes a lot to top Côte d'Or wines.
