Rudi Pichler

The Pichler family have lived in the village of Wösendorf, in Austria's Wachau, since 1731. They bought their first cellar in 1884 and planted vines about twenty years later.

Today Rudolf Pichler IV, known as Rudi, farms fifteen hectares with great care, including some of the Wachau's recognised top sites. His wines are crystal clear and precise, with real depth. They are lovely young, but have many layers that open up with time.
