Serra da Estrela

Serra da Estrela is a fresh, lively Albariño from O Rosal, in southern Galicia near the Portuguese border. Winemaker Álvaro Bueno buys grapes grown on pergolas from four vineyards in the area.

Here Albariño shows the strong mineral edge and zesty apricot and citrus flavours that make it so popular. It is just the thing with seafood from the wide, shallow estuaries, the rías baixas, that give the region its name.
