Soto Manrique

The Soto Manrique family started out making wine in Rueda. As the second generation joined, they turned to Cebreros, in the Sierra de Gredos west of Madrid.

This rising area is winning praise for its own style of Garnacha, with an elegance close to Pinot Noir, from old vines on granite and slate. They also grow the local white grape Albillo Real, which is aromatic, and give it some time on the skins for extra structure and complexity.
