Source Gabriel

La Source Gabriel is a Côtes de Provence rosé made by Régine Sumeire together with her nephew, Roger Blanc-Sumeire. Their two family estates are in the village of Pierrefeu-du-Var.

Font-Freye has been in Sumeire hands since 1933, and the family bought Château la Tour de l'Évêque next door in 1958.

The name honours Régine's grandfather, Gabriel Sumeire. The story goes that the old fountain at La Tour de l'Évêque had run dry, and Gabriel brought the estate back to life by linking it to the spring at Font-Freye.
