Three Lions
Three Lions is a label from the Plantagenet winery in Western Australia's Great Southern region. Plantagenet owns 126 hectares of vines and makes all its wines from its own fruit, and this range is there to show that fruit off.
The name has a story. Early English settlers called the local shire Plantagenet, and the winery took the name when it opened in 1974. Its founder, Tom Smith, could trace his family back to the medieval Plantagenet kings, whose coat of arms carried three lions.
In the bottle you will find a zesty, unoaked Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, plus reds from Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Shiraz with plenty of ripe, dark and blue fruit.
