Thymiopoulos

The Thymiopoulos family have grown grapes in Naoussa, in Greek Macedonia, for generations. Apostolos's father Sergios was the first to farm them as a business, selling to local wineries and working hard to raise the quality.

Apostolos went to Athens to study winemaking. Back home, he started making wine under the family name in 2003, and his first release came out in 2005. He has added more vineyards since then, but he still farms with the same light touch as the generations before him.
