Unico Zelo

Unico Zelo is a small South Australian winery run by Brendan and Laura Carter, who have made wine under this label since 2012. They love their home country, and it shows.

After studying sites around the state, they settled on Italian grapes. Fiano and Nero d'Avola are dry-farmed in the hot, dry Riverland, while Nebbiolo and Barbera do well in the Clare Valley's inland climate. They choose grapes that need little help in the vineyard or the cellar. The wines are sustainable, delicious and very easy to drink.
