Vins Rijckaert

Vins Rijckaert was set up in 1998 by Jean Rijckaert, a winemaker from Flanders. He farmed four hectares in the Mâconnais and five more in the Jura, and was the first to make wine in both places at once.

In 2013 he met Florent Rouve, a winemaker who became his protégé. Over time Jean taught Florent his methods and outlook, and in the end handed the business over to him. Florent has kept the house style while adding his own touch. The wines balance natural richness with lots of freshness and precision.
