Weingut Frank

They farm 23 hectares of hillside vines on old, wind-blown loess soils, and they make a fragrant, textured style of Grüner Veltliner. Austrians call this grape pfefferl, the little peppery one, for its hints of white pepper and herbs.

The friendly Harald Frank runs the business with his wife Daniela, his cousin Katrin and his aunt Johanna. They see themselves as caretakers of the land for the next generation.
